Webikers and the Pesaro Motorcycle Rally "Bikers on the Waves": an interview with Luca, founder of Webikers.
In a region seemingly designed to be experienced on two wheels, amidst winding roads overlooking the sea and breathtaking views, a project is born, centered on passion, people, and the desire to build something authentic. We spoke with Luca, founder of Webikers, to learn how the event came to be, the journey that led to its realization, and his focus on the future.
Q: Luca, where did the idea for this event come from?
A: It was born from the desire to fill a void that had arisen in our area in recent years. We felt the need to bring something back here that would unite the people, their passions, and the value of the region. On one hand, motorcycling; on the other, an extraordinary land, made up of unique views, spectacular curves, and the ever-present sea. Bringing these elements together was a natural fit.
Q: When did the project begin to take shape?
A: It all started in April. During that time, the idea began to take shape, thanks in part to discussions and collaboration with the Municipality of Pesaro. It was a process built step by step, with great attention to detail and shared objectives.
Q: What role did the Municipality of Pesaro play in developing the event?
A: Fundamental. A very positive synergy was created right from the start. The dialogue with the Municipality of Pesaro allowed us to develop the project properly, leading to its completion on September 6th. Without this collaboration, none of this would have been possible.
Q: What does September 6th represent for you?
A: It's not just a date. It's the culmination of months of work, but also the beginning of something new. From that day on, a concrete synergy was born between the Municipality of Pesaro and our work, transforming an idea into a real, vibrant, and participatory event.
Q: How would you define this event today?
A: It's a magnificent event because it shows who we are and what we love. It enhances the local area, unites people through a passion for motorcycles, and demonstrates that when you work together with vision and passion, you can create authentic and memorable experiences.
Q: Looking ahead to 2026, do you already have an idea of when the next edition will take place?
A: Yes, we're already working on 2026. The idea is to confirm the early September date, which has proven ideal for both the region and motorcyclists. We'll announce the official date soon, but the goal is to continue what we've built, making this event a regular fixture on the motorcycling calendar.
